Usage
- S3 is close-fitting soft rubber gas mask that offers excellent face, eye, respiratory
protection against chemical, biological
and nuclear contaminated airborne threats.
Features
Facepiece Assembly
- Inlet valve disk allows filtered air to enter the facepiece and prevents moist exhaled air from entering the canister.
- Nosecup valve disk allows filtered air to enter nosecup and prevents moist exhaled air from fogging eyelenses in cold weather.
- Outlet valve disk releases exhaled air and prevents unfiltered air from entering the facepiece.
- Front voicemitter transmit your voice outside of the facepiece.
The Canister
- The canister filters out chemical-biological agents and other particles from contaminated air.
- Screw on facepiece assembly.
The Carrier
- Provides for storage and carrying of mask and additionally authorized items.
- Consists of shoulder strap, waist strap, short strap, short adjustable strap and ID plate.
- Quick-opening flap, with zipper, provides for ready access to contents.
